Collectible Cars

Originally owned by a plumbing contractor in Haddonfield, New Jersey, the vehicle was used in the business until 19__ when it was purchased by a dealer in _______, New Jersey. They kept the vehicle in the showroom with only occasional use for parades and the like. In _______ the owner passed away and the family reluctantly put the Ford up for sale. We purchased the truck from a local friend who had decided not to fully restore the vehicle. We didn't want a museum quality vehicle so it fits our needs perfectly.

As with all unused vehicles, there were lots of little things to be done before it became drivable. We replaced most bushings in the steering and transmission system, replaced part of the exhaust, gave it new hub caps, a hood ornament, fan belt, hoses, stripped and serviced the fuel system, did some cosmetic work and now "Jon Boy" as we named him will be used for general fun and several club tours each year.

There were not many Model B pickups made with the 4 Cylinder engine as in 1932 Ford was just producing them with V8 Flat Head engines. There were several delays with the V8 so the first couple of batches of the B model had the 4 Cylinder. This is number 90 of those made, so it was part of the second batch delivered in April 1932.
