In the days of Prohibition and the Great Depression, the Cadillac Fleetwood was for only the fortunate few. Needless to say, some of these were on the wrong side of the law, others were hollywood stars or maybe prominent politicians. (Just Like Today, EH?)
Identity keys for 1931 models were the Cadillac V8 Badge between the headlights, Cadillac Medallion on top of the radiator surround, 5 oblong adjustable louvers on each side of the engine hood and flat single bar bumpers.
The Cadillac build sheet shows this car was originally supplied to Royston Cadillac La Salle Co. in Pittsburgh, PA. It went to Arizona, then to Michigan. In the 1990's, Dale Bliss of Oklahoma secured the vehicle and performed a total off frame restoration of impeccable quality. In 2000 he was awarded first prize by the Classic Car Club of America in a national competition. The car ended up on display at the Volo Auto Museum, Illinois and most recently cam to Florida for the current owner.
